My name is Matthew Boyer and I am a Problahgger. A “problahgger” is someone who might already have a profession, but has grown bored or even recently “reduced in force” from it, and is looking for a little excitement and extra spending cash from blogging. That’s me (bored, thankfully not “reduced”) and after several years at it I’m ready to share my experiences and knowledge to help you do the same.

In early 2007 I began the shift from an amateur web presence toward the goal of one day going professional in the online arena. After finding fantastic financial success and great satisfaction from reaching tens of thousands of readers every day I decided I would help others start down the path of building a better blog from the ground up and making money online. And so, Problahgger.com was born.

Today I run a blog network as part of my LLC, Gravy Train Productions, with five writers across nearly a dozen sites. On peak months I’ve generated millions of pageviews and earned thousands in revenue thanks to lots of hard work and determination.

While I may have only begun semi-pro blogging a few years ago I launched my first website in 1998 as part of a college course project. Several years later I founded Gravy Train Productions as a web design company for a summer job which lasted a few seasons. Now I’ve come full circle with a returned focus on GTP and building the next Web empire, leaving the ordinary old desk job behind forever.
